Easy Bookkeeping 123 was born from real-life entrepreneurial experience—and a hard lesson learned.

Back in 2009, I opened my own restaurant, driven by passion and determination. Like many small business owners, I tried to save money by managing the bookkeeping myself, despite having only a basic understanding of accounting.
​
It didn’t take long for the cracks to show. My well-meaning DIY approach led to costly errors, and eventually, I had to hire a professional to clean things up—at a much higher cost than if I’d done it right from the start.

Ultimately, my restaurant closed for good. But from that experience came a turning point. I realized that while entrepreneurs excel at building and running businesses, bookkeeping is a job best left to the experts. Determined to turn that failure into purpose, I pursued formal accounting education and committed myself to helping others avoid the same mistakes.

In 2014, I founded Easy Bookkeeping 123 to support small and mid-sized businesses throughout the San Francisco Bay Area. Our mission is simple: to relieve business owners of financial stress, so they can focus on doing what they do best—running and growing their businesses.
